Can i mix toner with hair dye
The rest of my hair is getting darker and darker even though I am trying to only get the mixture on the new growth. My roots are much lighter and warmer than the rest of my hair. I was thinking of applying 8A to get the orangy warmth out of my roots and hopefully the color will be a little more blended with the rest of my hair. Do you think that this is a good plan? Should I use permanent or demi? And 30V since my greys are so bad?
Thank you so much! I have been searching online for so many of your answers! Do you know what brand your stylist was using? Im so amazed by your efforts to reply to every question with such thorough and helpful advice and hoping you could help me with my root retouch problem. Most root retouch posts and videos i see are for dark roots on blonds and light ends.
I started using 4. But over time iv developed a darker build up on the mids and ends and had to continue to lower the level i use on my roots to try and acheive some sort of consistancy. Iv got done to a 3 and yet still havng lighter roots then the build up all over and dont know where to go from here.
I dont want to go black. Iv tried 10v with a 3 and there is still a noticable difference and it also come out very warm and also fades very quickly. Is my only option now to do a colour remover or bleach bath on the mids and ends then try a brown all over? I have had someone recomend a 3. I dont understand how that will work as i dont beleive colour lifts colour when the ends are soo dark.
Could you make any recommendations please? I do intend on going to a salon as soon as time and money permits but im just trying to get by till then.
