Where is sabang philippines

The bathrooms are some of the nicest and cleanest we came across in the Philippines - Jen has a great eye for detail and we couldn't fault anything here. Coffee was put out for us every morning. The location is close enough to the main town but far away enough that you will get a great sleep.

There is a bit of building work going on and the road in is a bit dusty but that didn't bother us. Both Jen and Fatima are lovely and if we ever come back to Port Barton, this will be number one choice for more than the three nights we stayed this time round. Set in San Vicente, 1. This 3-star inn offers a shared kitchen and room service. I got food poisoning in Port Barton and the woman who works at Eashantie's Place was so accommodating and sweet, she even brought me free chicken broth and rice.

Russell Place is located in Port Barton. Private parking is accessible at the inn. Each room is equipped with a shared bathroom. We made through Russell place Island Hopping and it was amazing. We saw turtles and coral bariers and lots of fish! Error: Please enter a valid email address.

There is not a lot of Restaurants, they are rather poor conditions but prices are high! Beach is ok but I have seen many better in Palawan.

Underground River and jungle trail are must see. This seems pretty underrated going from info on the internet. Sabang is very beautirul jungle with white sand beaches, but its also a bit of a tourist trap due to the Underground River.

Recommend visiting this natural wonder, but also spending a night or two here afterwards if you just want to relax. Tourists on the package tour may not get to see the beautiful beach because the wharf is situated on the other side, so do get out and explore! Locals are helpful and friendly. Sabang overall is a nice clean out of the way place to relax and swim with availability to tour the underground river. We enjoyed our tour overall and guides were very friendly. Most importantly do a thorough research as far as accomodation availability goes.

The place is very spot on located , nice beach and very friendly personal , the food was good and everything was very well coordinated we had a fantastic ride to El Nido and back , very prof chauffeurs and all accoording to plan , the only minus point was the money exchange vendors they did not keep them self to the official money exchange code and try to scam us with a very low rate of exchange , that must be look in to for other tourist not to become a victim… Great beach!

Very under-rated. The beach is beautiful but it's mostly very quiet with not many tourists. Yet there are plenty of places to get food and drinks. But closes down early, which is nice. Great beaches and not many tourists staying there. Most just come in for the day for the underground river tour. Try staying for a few days. It's amazingly chill at night with few people but plenty of food options in the evening. List your property.

And neither of them compare to the next thing on the list, something most tourists know nothing about….. My number 1 tip for Sabang! Isla Rita is almost untouched by tourism, with people flooding to Sabang for the underground river, then jetting off, everyone misses this absolute beauty. A minute van ride from Sabang Beach to Uluguan Bay, you then rent a local fisherman and his boat to sail you another 30 minutes or so to the privately owned atoll of Isla Rita and it is paradise.

The clearest waters you have ever seen, populated with multicoloured fish and giant clams. You have the island almost entirely to yourself bar a few local guys and fisherman.

One of my best every travel days. The whole area around Sabang beach is beautiful, huge dramatic mountains in the background and gorgeous white sand beaches virtually untouched.

The best thing about the zipline, aside from the fun of it, are the views! From the top, and from the bottom, of the zipline, the views are just amazing! And if you go as a couple, then can strap you in together! A couple of companies can organise it, but all the bookings run back to the Sheridan beach resort, so you can book it directly there like I did.

Then you take a kind of learner drive on the road from the resort into the jungle, driving past beautiful, local villages and palm trees until you hit the dirt track. You can hit the trail hard, smash through the puddles, get filthy and have fun, or you can take it easy and enjoy the experience.

The whole thing last about 2 hours from signing the waivers until returning back. Sabang Beach is not only a place to come and visit the underground river, and the beach itself is paradise! I was shocked to see how beautiful the actual beach was, but also the surrounding landscape and the cute little village. My girlfriend and I loved filling our downtime on the beach here, and wandering around the village, drinking cheap rum and local coconuts, local food and dips in the ocean.

A serene spot to kick back and read some books about traveling. You can hit the tropics without heading out to the mangroves. Look out for the black and yellow mangrove snakes, and also ask about the tamilok — a local woodworm, very tasty apparently! You can stay at an organic farm for a night during your time in Sabang beach, then the following morning get an awesome tour of everything they have going on there. You get to visit the rice paddies, the coffee plantations, the cocoa trees but even better is the animal section.

Geese are running around freely, you can feed the ostriches, the pigs, even tend to the vegetables. Oh, and I got to try my hand at ploughing the fields with the help of a buffalo, knock that one of the bucket list! The beauty of how empty Sabang Beach is compared to El Nido and Coron is that you can organise something pretty special for your other half.

In a busier area, this kind of thing is impossible, so this was a real winner. Maximum boyfriend points! I had planned such an awesome getaway for my girlfriend and I and the itinerary was so much fun, as you can see from all the stuff we did above!

One afternoon though we had a free schedule, so I asked the hotel what they suggested, but we had done almost everything! Then back to the beach for some cocktails and relaxation. The easiest way to get to Palawan is to fly to Puerta Princessa Airport, from there Sabang is about 2 hours north.

Then after a couple of days there, continue north to El Nido and Coron. Either a shuttle or a local jeepney. From Sabang, you can catch a van starting at 7am, up to You can book that online here. Sheridan Beach Resort. The best accommodation in Sabang, without a doubt.

The Sheridan Beach Resort is also home to the largest swimming pool in the whole of Palawan, complete with swim-up bar and a gorgeous, imposing tropical mountain backdrop. The staff are amazing, and perhaps the best thing of all is their list of activities. ATV, zip-lining, pizza-making, beach front romantic dinners etc all can be set up directly with them.

You can check out all the prices and awesome features of the amazing Sheridan Beach Resort here. Hill Myna Beach Cottage. Bar, restaurant and electricity up to 11pm. The majority of restaurants are clustered in central Sabang. You'll also find restaurants along Big and Small La Laguna attached to the hotels and resorts. Cheap eats can be found at a few local establishments.

There are many bars, cafes and street-side food stalls to ensure that you don't have to search far for something to drink. There are several houses and apartments for rent in and around Sabang including many with beach front locations. Listings for these properties are hard to come by before you arrive; unfortunately, for rent signs and listings are most easily found by walking around.

Returning to Luzon The average visitor to Sabang goes back the opposite way he or she came. To go by public transport, travel to Batangas by passenger banca from the station on the beach near Eddies Bar. An alternative route to Batangas is via Calapan one and a half-hour jeep ride from Puerto Galera where there are regular Roro and fast passenger ferry departures for Batangas.

Just check in 15 minutes before departure at the Sikat booth near Eddies.
