I'm not sure about the texture, but the taste is sour and not very appetizing. I'm not sure why they messed with the formula but this new formula is terrible! I used to love Daiya then used it to make pizza and I had to choke it down.

Just horrible. I just tried the new mozzarella cheese. It is absolutely disgusting, and I ended up throwing away my breakfast after a couple bites. The texture is strange, and the taste is atrocious. I don't know why they changed the formula, and can only hope they bring the old version back.

Until then I will start my search for a new cheese alternative. This deserves zero stars if that was an option.
